Description

Polychrome Ölmalerei, auf Kupfer eingelegt, in zwei Holztafeln. Beide Tafeln sind durch zwei eiserne Scharniere verbunden. Sehr fein gemalte Darstellung von Christus und Maria, jeweils in einer von Rocaillen gerahmten Ovalkartusche. Sie sind einander zugewandt, wobei Marias Blick in Richtung des Betrachters abschweift. Weiche Modellierung der Gesichtszüge. Holzrahmung mit Fehlstellen, Riss auf der Rückseite, Öse für den Verschlusshaken fehlt. Maße 12,7 x 21,5 cm (geöffnet) bzw. 12,5 x 10,2 cm (geschlossen).
