Early Hoffmann portrait postcard "Adolf Hitler" (approx. 1925) wearing a suit with party badge, on the reverse inscribed in ink in Betty Moritz’ own hand and addressed to (tr.) "Mr. Eduard Moritz Landsberg/L prison – Munich, Fürstenhof 2.IV.25 – With affectionate regards from your Betty", underneath it (tr.) "Also Emil Maurice" and a further signature. Munich postage stamp dated 2 April 1925.Condition: II Betty Moritz (1910 – 2003) was the daughter of the prison guard Valentin Moritz. Frequently visiting her father at Landsberg prison she made friends with inmate Hitler and the other November-putschists. Until well into the 1930ies Hitler kept sending her postcards and books, all of which had been kept in family hands until recently. Questions about the lot?
