Six cards in the format 14 x 9 cm, each with keywords in blue-grey indelible pencil written in Hitler’s own hand on one side and pagination on the upper right.
After (tr.) "five years" it was (tr.) "time for an assessment"; Hitler compares (tr.) "Our situation. 1.) 1933 2.) fundamentally" to (tr.) "And now?", and also includes the development (tr.) "in other countries?" such as (tr.) "America, France". He concludes that in Germany there was (tr.) "work", (tr.) "inner order – inner peace". He affirms the (tr.) "slogan 'Never again war'", (tr.) "but also from the inside", for the (tr.) "worst struggle" was the (tr.) "class struggle". Germany had (tr.) "overcome it all today" and had achieved (tr.) "successes! – economic, political, cultural". He finishes by calling Labour Day a (tr.) "day of joyful celebration in
Germany and Austria", (tr.) "new work – new happiness – we will resolve it."
In his speech he proclaimed: (tr.) "Earlier there were people who declared, 'An end to the battle! Never again war!', while internally they let the battle rage on. I know that motto [.]. It is my own motto as well! [.] Not 'never again war' should be our motto, but rather 'never again civil war! Never again class struggle! Never again internal fighting and discord!'" Cf.
