Description

Schmiedeeisen. Runde Stange mit vier aufgeschobenen Schellen zur Fixierung von Handgelenken und Knöcheln. Der gelochte Abschluss mit Hangschloss des 19. Jhdts. Länge 57 cm. Diese Art der Fesselung zwang den Delinquenten in eine unbequeme gekrümmte Haltung, die über längere Zeit zu starken Muskelspasmen führte und so auch als Folter angewendet werden konnte.

Provenance: Ehemals Bestandteil der permanenten Folterausstellung im Rosso d'oro in Brixen.
