Description

Holz, geschnitzt und bemalt. Ein Prachtexemplar eines hölzernen Bechers mit angeschnitztem Gesicht. Rundum polychrome Lackmalerei über drei Registern. Die Standfläche und ein weiteres Register mit Inka im Kampf, der obere Teil der Wandung mit geometrischem Dekor. Fehlstelle am oberen Rand sowie leichte Abnutzungsspuren. Maße 15 x 12 x 13 cm.

Provenance: Aus hessischer Privatsammlung. Übernommen aus der Sammlung des Vaters, der von 1921 – 1960 in Peru lebte und dort die Sammlung zusammengetragen hat.
