Description
Ebony. Figure of a (Massai?) warrior carved in one piece, the head with expressive features, detailed hairstyle and elaborate ear jewellery. Clad in a finely carved patterned garment with one shoulder exposed, a short sword attached to a body belt. The wrists and ankles are decorated with glass beads in red and white.
