Modelled after the antiquity. Partially chiselled bronze with greenish patina. Naked young man standing on a round base with finely worked sandals, wearing his ram's skin (nebris) over his left shoulder and his right hand with outstretched index finger slightly raised. Signs of age. Patina rubbed off. Height 62.5 cm.The important Flavian bronze statue in Hellenistic style was discovered in Pompeii and is now in the National Archaeological Museum of Naples.Condition: II - Questions about the lot?
