Walnut fullstock richly decorated with engraved and blackened inlays of bone and mother-of-pearl, with intermittent silver wire-inlays. Iron butt cap and trigger guard. Wooden ramrod with horn tip. Length 139.5 cm.Muskets decorated in a closely related manner can be found in the Dresden armoury and many international museums, such as the Metropolitan Museum in New York (Inv. 28.100.06) and the Saint Louis Art Museum (Inv. 302:1951).
