Three unidentified hallmarks, a shield divided diagonally with two fields and the mark "IH" struck twice with a star and crescent. An old insert at the breech, filled with brass, for a dovetail front sight. The match snaphaunce lock with a swivelling pan cover, a decorative brass rosette appliquéd on the lock plate. Set trigger. The walnut stock with inlays of engraved and blackened bone. Marked "V" on the underside. The replaced butt cap made of light horn. The wooden ramrod with engraved bone tip.
