Description

Sturdy, broad single-edged blade fullered on both sides with an offset, double-edged central point (unmarked, slightly stained in places). Brass cross hilt with diagonally grooved grip on both sides. Coarse black leather scabbard (shrunken and scuffed) with brass fittings (the retaining clip of the chape is missing), the unit stamp "4 LIB. 2C.34" with a suspension hook on the locket. Signs of age and handling. Length 63 cm. Overall in beautiful condition, consistent with its age.
