Description

SN. 7011, barrel length 5", bright bore. Seven shots. Proof marks. Made in December of 1916. Rotating sights scaled 50 - 200 yards. Hammer and grip safety. Lug for shoulder stock. The left hand side of the slide marked "Webley & Scott Ltd / Pistol Self-Loading .455 Mark I No 2 / 1915". Broad arrow acceptance marks. Original finish with some thinning of slide and grip straps, minor spotting, traces of stockage. Black hard rubber grips. Lanyard ring. Magazine. A rare collector's item, one of only 439 ever made from 1913 to 1919. See Bruce, "Webley & Scott Automatic Pistols", pages 252 to 258.
