Description

Cal. 9mmLuger, SN. ohne, bright bore. Eight shots. Proof marks Double Crown/"U" on most parts. Lug for shoulder board. The extractor marked "Geladen", the safety "Gesichert". The chamber area unmarked, the toggle link with acceptance mark Double Crown/"U". The rear grip strap with faint unit marking "RJR 242.10 K.12.". Original Mauser factory finish > 98%, minor traces of wear, a small spot of minor pitting on the bottom front grip strap. Small parts strawed. The lanyard loop with a small metal spring ring. Dark smooth walnut grips with acceptance marks Eagle/"WaA66". Nickel-plated magazine with unnumbered aluminum base. With a black holster made by "H. Clemen / Elberfeld", tool with imperial acceptance mark. Pull strap missing. Solid stitching. This extremely rare gun is described and illustrated in Kenyon, "Lugers at Random", page 298/299.
