Description
Cal. 9mmLuger, SN. 7670, matching numbers, except firing pin and rear sight leaf (numbered "07" instead of "70"). Bright bore. Eight shots. Proof marks. Rear sights graduated 1 - 8. The chamber area marked "1917/1920". Toggle link with DWM logo. Various imperial acceptance marks. The rear grip strap with a Navy inventory marking Imperial Eagle / "M / 1561 / N" (North Sea Fleet, gun # 1561). Original finish with minor traces of wear in the muzzle area, on the sideplate and on the right hand side of the receiver. Small parts straw colored or niter blued. Dark walnut grips, unnumbered, the right one with a dent . A nickel-plated Navy style magazine, the wooden base numbered "N 1424", with lateral concentric circles. An extremely rare collector's item, which was prohibited according to the Treaty of Versailles.
