Dunkles Horn, im Deckel eingelegtes Medaillon aus Golddoublé mit rotgoldenem Rand. Geprägtes Profilportrait Napoleons mit Lorbeerkranz und Umschrift "Napoleon Empereur des Francais et Roi d'Italie", am Hals Signatur "Galle fecit". Durchmesser des Medaillons 72 mm, der Dose 80 mm. Einliegend ein blondes Haarbüschel mit französisch beschriftetem Zettel.André Galle (1761 - 1844), französischer Medailleur, aufgrund seiner zahlreichen Portrait- und Erinnerungsmedaillen auch als der "Bronzehistoriker des Konsulats und des Kaiserreiches" bekannt.
