Made of strong cardboard, the lid re-enforced with leather. Maker's mark "Gebrüder Klinge / Dresden / 1940", acceptance mark Eagle/WaA796. Pouch for cleaning rod. Two belt loops with D-rings. Solid, white stitching. Minor signs of wear. A very rare early production, in excellent condition.
