Description

Octagonal barrel, 188 mm long, with smooth bore in cal. 15 mm. Barrel with well-preserved original bluing and neo-classical gold decorations. Brass front sight. On the barrel bottom standard proof marks (crossed palm leaves), and probably the barrel maker's mark (J.REV". Smooth flintlock mit maker's mark "Fauleau Avallon". Iron furniture. All metal parts without original finish, cleaned, polished. Walnut full stock with signs of age and wear, a little crack below the muzzle, another crack (not visible from the outside) below the chamber. Checkering on the grip. Iron ramrod, probably original. Mechanically sound. Length circa 35 cm.
