Description

Wool-knotted carpet featuring a warrior with a sword in the center, flanked by the flags of the Soviet Union and the GDR; a corresponding inscription appears along the bottom edge. Seven metal rings for suspension along the top edge. Dimensions approx. 130 x 90 cm. Colors remain vibrant. The 30th anniversary of the liberation from fascism was celebrated in the GDR on May 8, 1975.
