The sheet metal housing with original black wrinkle paint, corresponding type plate with on/off switch beneath the indicator bulb, and mounting brackets on the reverse. The plug of the side cable is missing. Function and completeness not checked. The Schreibmax MZSS (= Marine Zusatz Schreiber Streifen) was fitted using a frame over the lamp panel after the bulbs had been removed. Its contacts fitted into the lamp sockets, enabling it to receive the signals. The text was output via a tape printer.
