Description

M16 steel helmet shell painted Feldgrau (field grey) (showing some scuffing), featuring a rolled rim and two ventilation lugs; ink-stamped "66" at the rear of the neck. Fitted with a later brown leather liner (pad-and-flap style) bearing the manufacturer, year of production, and size markings "Schuberth Werke AG Braunschweig, 1931, 66," and a leather chin strap attached to the liner band via white metal eyelets. Shows signs of age and wear.

The auction starts on Wednesday, November 25, 2026 at 4 pm (CET), start subject to the timing of the preceding auction, with Lot no. 8001 - 8488 and continues on Thursday, November 26, 2026 at 10 am (CET) with Lot no. 8489 - 9186. The pre-sale view will take place from May 12 - May 15 2026 in our auction rooms at Bretonischer Ring 3 in 85630 Grasbrunn / Munich from 11 am to 5 pm (CET).
