Description
Original field grey paint finish on the inner helmet. Exterior with two-tone camouflage paint (reddish-brown, medium green), divided by black lines. 1917 model inner helmet with lining strips made of galvanised metal tape. Padding made of thin, light-coloured goatskin; one pad stamped with “Lederwaren-Industrie G.m.b.H. Inn/Dachau” on the underside. All three padding packs present. Helmet shell stamped on the inside with “Si 66” (Eisenhüttenwerk Silesia, Paruschowitz / Upper Silesia). Leather chin strap with button 91. Partially slightly damaged, with signs of wear and age.Condition: II Questions about the lot?
