Description

Black lacquered steel body, trimmed in red cord. Tarnished emblem (breast shield trophy) with red enamelled centre and gold "FR" monogram attached to the front by means of two screws and nuts. Black leather straps with gilt scale fittings and oak leaf buckles attached to two lion's head shields. Black leather waist belt, cream-coloured, quilted cloth lining trimmed in black and white. Retouching of the lacquer and scratches, the lining torn. Uncleaned. Traces of wear and tear, due to age, with minor discoloration/traces of soot.
