Description

Issue piece. Body made of black lacquered leather, sewn-on visors (cracked, showing signs of heat damage). On the front, a gilded imperial eagle secured with leather wedges. Leather chin strap with "Model 91" button, colour-lacquered iron Imperial cockade, black-and-white military insignia inserted at the top. Brown leather flap lining; interior of the crown stamped with markings including "J.B.9, 54". Clear signs of wear and age.

The auction starts on Tuesday, November 24, 2026 at 10 am (CET) with Lot no. 6001 - 7079 and continues on Wednesday, November 25 at 10 am (CET) with Lot no. 7080 - 7502. The pre-sale view will take place from November 9 - November 13, 2026 in our auction rooms at Bretonischer Ring 3 in 85630 Grasbrunn / Munich from 11 am to 5 pm (CET).
