Description

Privately purchased item. Nickel-plated, single-edged blade with double fullers on both sides (edge re-ground, no manufacturer's mark). Gilt brass knuckle-bow hilt with the Mecklenburg emblem on the guard plate, black plastic grip, triple wire winding, intact leather finger strap. Black re-lacquered steel scabbard (slightly abraded) with one movable suspension ring. Signs of age and wear. Length 97 cm. Very rare.
