Description

Black lacquered leather skull, square front visor with green underlay (trim worn) and rear visor with red underlay, tan leather sweatband with silk rips lining (signs of wear). Golden fittings: emblem with pierced crown and laurel branch, cross spike base on star screws, the funnel with pearl-rod frieze and fluted head. Flat chin scales with rosette side posts, officer cockades. Size ca. 55. The skull is dented, causing the cross spike base to be deformed; the spike is glued in place.

The auction starts on Tuesday, November 24, 2026 at 10 am (CET) with Lot no. 6001 - 7079 and continues on Wednesday, November 25 at 10 am (CET) with Lot no. 7080 - 7502. The pre-sale view will take place from November 9 - November 13, 2026 in our auction rooms at Bretonischer Ring 3 in 85630 Grasbrunn / Munich from 11 am to 5 pm (CET).
