Black leather body (dented, craquelured, liner missing) with brass fittings with traces of gilding, bearskin crest (loose, with evident losses), gilt two-part L-emblem. Officer-type chin strap with stippled end links on gilt relief lion heads, officer's cockade with cipher “L”. Evident signs of storage and age.
