Description

Colored pastel on paper, unsigned. Bust-length portrait showing a dark blue uniform coat with a silver-embroidered stand-up collar, an early-style epaulette, embossed silver buttons (coat of arms beneath a crown), and a leather bandolier with a small chain for a vent pick. Framed under glass in an old wooden frame (with scattered wormholes); backing paper is old (tears repaired with adhesive tape). Minor localized damage and signs of age. Frame dimensions: 52 x 40 cm.
