Description

Double-edged thrusting blade (partially slightly stained or pitted) of diamond section, halved on both sides with double fullers, acceptance stamp and etched signature “Coulaux Klingenthal” at the base, relief-decorated non-ferrous metal knuckle-bow hilt, obverse guard plate with fasces, reverse with a folding side guard (does not lock, locking ball missing). Also includes a second example by the same manufacturer with the obverse guard plate absent, folding side guard does not lock. Partially damaged, signs of use and age. Length 98 and 97 cm.
