Description
Round barrel, the bore slightly pitted, eight lands and grooves, calibre 16.3 mm. Model 1843 breech plug, hammer safety and folding rear sight, converted percussion lock. Walnut full stock with brass furniture, iron reinforcing band with lug for the shoulder stock, marked “No. 321”. Stock with signs of use and several repairs. Unit markings on the lockplate and trigger guard. Matching Model 1843 detachable butt stock, the push button functional, iron lanyard loop, the top marked “No. 420”. The detachable butt stock with signs of use, three notches struck on the spine and right side. Overall length 70 cm.Condition: II - Questions about the lot?
