Description

Octagonal to round barrels with smooth bores in 17 mm calibre. Engraved inscription on the top: “Balthasar Obermayer à Murn - Esqattron à Wasserburg anno 1817”. The rear ends of the barrels and the locks with basic engraved scrolling foliage. Walnut full stocks with lightly carved scrolling foliage. Plain brass furniture. Length each 35 cm. Probably a souvenir of a veteran of the Royal Bavarian 2nd chevaulegers regiment “Taxis” commemorating the Wars of Liberation.
