Description

Flintlock with domed lock plate. Behind the hammer engraved with the emblem of the Prince-Bishop of Würzburg Johann Philipp von Greiffenclau-Vollraths. Between the frizzen spring a clearly visible heart-shaped stamp with Suhler proof, bird and “HMT”. Hammer altered during period of use. Lock defective, pan cover broken, screw replaced. Left lockplate terminal broken. Partially rusted. Length 16.5 cm.
