Description
Finely wrought instrument in gold-coloured brass with remnants of possible gilding. Short barrel with breech-loading action, the breechblock made of iron. Funnel-shaped vent hole on the top for matchlock ignition. The wheel with a delicately engraved scale, the support with chased floral ornaments and engraved décor. The slender neck with finely engraved embellishment and the signature "Picinus Frusca - Fecit Brixaie". The stock made of walnut (cracked, partially restored), the brass furniture with lavish floral decoration in relief. Length 20 cm.
