Description

Sturdy, conically tapering blade of rhombic cross-section. A brass-damascened cross mark on the obverse. Slightly down-curved flat crossguard with a large guard ring on the obverse, struck geometrical ornamentation. Original grip with leather cover over cord winding. Double conical pommel, the top face with struck decorative ornament. Surfaces acid cleaned. Length 106 cm.
