Description

Two differing double-edged blades of diamond section with sturdy ricassos. Clearly visible damascus structure. Slender, slightly tapered tangs. One blade signed at the base “M.Sachse Damaszener”. Length 29 and 33.5 cm. Manfred Sachse (1935–2022), active in Mönchengladbach. Noted smith and author of reference works on the theme of damascus steel.
