Description

Long, tapering rhombic thrusting blade, the base with upward-swept parrying lugs of lenticular cross-section on both sides. Surfaces pitted. Transitioning into a polygonal socket with two langets. Socket re-set at the centre. Original ash shaft of round, fluted cross-section. Small chip on one side, collector's plaque in brass in the lower third. Length 248.5 cm.
