Description

Long, quadrangular thrusting spike. Small, crescent-shaped axe blade with three keyhole-shaped piercings. Long raking hook with one piercing and a smith's mark (orb) struck on one side. Angular socket with four long langets and a sliding reinforcement ring. The shaft rivets backed with decorative brass bosses. Original, finely fluted ashwood haft. Length 251 cm.
