Description

Incompletely preserved miniature harness of outstanding quality, in the early historicist style. The chest with a triple-ridged breastplate and flanges struck inwards. A large lance rest riveted to the side. Two attached hoops with tassets sliding on five lames. Backplate with two culet hoops. Shots for the attachment of the missing jousting helm. A pair of gauntlets, one thumb plate missing, with attached vambraces. Together with the right leg comprising a one-piece cuisse, a kneecop sliding on three lames, and a closed lower cannon with sliding sabaton. Original leather covering, partially defective. Height of breastplate with tassets 30 cm.
