Description
Wooden, partly textile-covered figure with a fine carved and polychrome-painted head on a wooden plinth. Elaborately crafted armour comprising a helmet with crest in the shape of a Dragon. Cuirass with fine engraved breastplate, long-sleeved chainmail and full leg armour. In the right hand a small mace with four striking flanges, in the left a hexagonal convex shield with Lion head boss. At the side a Rapier with scabbard on textile hangers. Height 57 cm. A finely detailed figure in the tradition of Neapolitan crèche figures.Condition: II Questions about the lot?
