Description

Shinogi zukuri blade, chu-kissaki. Finely forged itame hada, hamon in suguha, widening towards the head. Copper habaki. Nakago with one mekugi-ana, inscribed “Bizen Kuni Osafune Ju Tadatsugu”. Bronze tsubas. Tsuka with beige silk wrapping over same. Partially gilt Fuchi/Kashira in bronze with shakudō inlays. Dragon menuki in patinated bronze. Black lacquered saya (not associated?). Blade length K/M 66.6 cm, overall length 97 cm.
