blade shinogi-zukuri, chu-kissaki. Ko-itame hada, notare choji midare hamon. Old polish. silver menuki. Nakago with four mekugi-ana, inscribed “Norimitsu Saku”. iron tsubas with traces of gold and silver inlay. Tsuka with leather wrap over same. Non-matching Fuchi/Kashira of iron with floral silver inlay and wave décor respectively. Partially gilt bronze blossom menuki. black lacquer saya with mounting of dark horn. Blade length K/M 61 cm, overall length 87 cm. Including French dealer papers with attribution to Bizen Norimitsu, 17th century.
