Description
Two bronze spearheads with mask decoration at the transition from socket to blade, one with parallel cutting edges and only a suggested central ridge, the other with curved cutting edges, a bulging central ridge and two lateral loops on the socket. Length 24.2 and 19.5 cm. A dagger with parallel cutting edges and a Tao-Tieh mask at the lower end of the hilt, a pierced grip and an incised-decorated mythical creature at the upper end. Length 21 cm. All three objects with an artificially produced copper layer and artificially applied green oxides over it, visually deceptively similar in appearance to genuine bronzes. Technically and stylistically appealing and accomplished copies. Together with an equally accomplished copy of a Qin-period arrowhead with dark green Patina. Length 8 cm.Condition: I - II Questions about the lot?
