The helmet forged in one piece in copper casting, with antique-style relief décor. Battlefield and allegorical scenes on the sides of the skull, trophy décor on the comb. Hollow-wrought peak and neck guard. The exterior silver-plated and heavily patinated. Height 30 cm. Outstanding workmanship, made by an art foundry after the Italian "all'antica" parade helmets of the late Renaissance.Condition: II Questions about the lot?
