A Colt Model 1849 Pocket, in case

Description

Cal. .31(BlackPowder), SN. 62938 , matching numbers. Octagonal 6" barrel, the bore partly frosted, but with good rifling. Five shots. The top of the barrel with two-line-company markings "ADDRESS SAML COLT / NEW YORK CITY", the cylinder engraved and marked "COLTS PATENT/62938". On the left of the frame patents. Trigger guard and grip straps of silver-plated steel. Uniformly patinated. Smooth walnut grips. Mechanically sound. Length 27 cm. The case lined in purple velvet, containing an original Colt bullet mold, powder flask, nipple wrench, two empty cans of caps and the original key to the box. Dimensions 30 x 15 x 5 cm. (The lead balls shown cannot be exported!)
