Description
Cal. .44-40WCF, SN. 450MPC, matching numbers. Barrel length 7½", bright bore. Six shots. German proof marks. The barrel top with company address, the left side marked "COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER", the right side "1873 PEACEMAKER CENTENNIAL 1973". Left of frame patents, rampant colt and calibre. Impeccable factory nickel-plating and mother-of-pearl grip scales. Center pin secured with a screw as in the 1873 model. In special leather display case, the top with model markings, a portrait of Col. Colt in the lid, the velvet base with a silver plate commemorating the anniversary. Dimensions 41 x 20 x 7 cm. With a German newspaper article from 1976 on this model.
