Description

Cal. .36(BlackPowder), SN. 42909 , matching numbers. Barrel length 5½". Moderately frosted bore with good rifling. Five shots. The barrel top marked with company name, on the left of the trigger guard calibre "36 Cal", on the frame "Colts / Patent". Original finish on barrel and cylinder with signs of wear and some thinning. Frame and hammer colour case-hardened. Trigger guard and grip straps made of silver-plated steel. Smooth walnut grips with a few minor dings. The wooden case lined in purple baize, the colour a bit faded, containing an original Colt's bullet mold, powder flask, nipple wrench and primer box. A nice, complete set!
