Description
Cal. .31(BlackPowder), SN. 309362, matching numbers. Barrel length 4", bright bore. Six shots. On top of the barrel single-line company address (NY), on the left side of the frame marked „Colt's Patent”, on the trigger guard „31 CAL”. The cylinder engraved with stage coach robbery. The original finish mostly gone, the surface a bit freckled. Trigger guard and grip straps of brass. Smooth walnut grips with minor dings and dents. In a small wooden case, lined in recent purple baize, dimensions 26x15x5 cm, containing original Colt accessories, bullet mold, powder flask, nipple wrench, primer caps and key to the case. A rare and beautiful set!
