Silver with an internal glass bottle, rounded lines with a smooth base. Combined twist and flip-top lid with cork stopper and bayonet lock. The mark of fineness "900" and number "16" on the lid hinge. The front with a circular medallion and engraved monogram "M.v.R." below a baronial crown. The removable medallion with five conical telescopic rings, gilt on the inside, which can be retracted to form a schnapps tumbler. The silver bottle with a matching ring-shaped indentation and two spring-loaded catches to fasten the medallion/tumbler. Height 15 cm. Total weight 324 g. Incomparable "drinking set" in beautiful condition from the estate of the most successful German World War I fighter pilot, with 80 confirmed aerial victories.Provenance: Hermann Historica, 76th Auction 2018, lot 5540, hammer price 7,200 euros.
