Description

Ovales hölzernes Propellerstück (ca. 16 x 11,5 cm), schauseitig bemalt und beschriftet „Propellerstück von LZ.39. Gestrandet am 18.Dezbr. 1915 bei Totscin - Lusk, Süd-Russland. Luftsch Schürle , ... Warschau". Dazu 19 Schwarzweißfotos - u. a. Schürle in Uniform - und AK´s an ihn. Gustav Schürle (1898 -1970) war 1914 beim Ersatzluftschiffer-Bataillon 4 stationiert. Danach wechselte er zum Luftschiffertrupp 3 zunächst nach Frankfurt bevor er nach Warschau versetzt wurde. Von hier startete die LZ 39 zu ihrem letzten Flug und strandete 1915 in Südrussland, wovon Schürle Zeuge war. Teils leicht beschädigt, Gebrauchs- und Altersspuren. Einzigartiges Ensemble zur frühen Luftfahrtgeschichte.

Provenance: Direkt aus Familienbesitz.
