Description

Beautifully preserved attila, a privately purchased item in field-grey cloth, trimmed in silver cord, silver-plated rosettes and pins, hook fastening, two side pockets, shoulder boards sewn in place (no appliqués) in silver weave interwoven in green. Lined in pale blue fabric, inner lining in silky, ochre-coloured cloth with an inside breast pocket and two coat-tail pockets. Also includes the officer's sash in mint condition, made of silver weave interwoven in green, and a darkened linen shirt. Moreover, a cardboard box containing two cloth shoulder boards with appliquéd „19", lance flag for Saxon NCOs (stained, small holes, stamped „5"), beautifully preserved white and green feather plume for the busby, two chinscales (including the Saxon Reich cockade) and two chinscales attached to M 91 side post lugs. Furthermore, two photos of the wearer by Atelier Meinhardt of Grimma. A few minor defects, old repairs, small tears, signs of age and wear. A rare uniform with accessories.
