Privately purchased item. Cornflower blue base cloth with burgundy stand-up collar and Polish cuffs, white piping, smooth yellow buttons. Silver guard braid on the stand-up collar and cuffs. The shoulders with the Saxon epaulettes for officers of the cavalry with beautiful gilding, backed in good-quality, cornflower blue cloth. Worn, bluish-grey silk lining with an inside breast pocket and two inner coattail pockets. Minor repairs and small imperfections in the blue and red cloth plus silk lining here and there, signs of age and wear. A rare find.Condition: II Questions about the lot?
