Description

Fine, dark blue cloth, Polish cuffs and collar in yellow fabric with guard braid in silver thread (tarnished), smooth silver buttons (A.Berger jun. Potsdam). Looped shoulder boards for a Prussian Rittmeister. Lined in good-quality, smooth black silk with an inside breast pocket, containing the tailor's label „A. Berger Jun., Potsdam" with the handwritten wearer's name "Graf v. Merveld" and date „4 X 06". Moreover, an overcoat in the same colours and for the same rank, buttons from the same manufacturer, unlined. A few small holes in both pieces, signs of age and wear.

The pre-sale view will take place from May 12 - May 15 2026 in our auction rooms at Bretonischer Ring 3 in 85630 Grasbrunn / Munich from 11 am to 5 pm (CEST).
